A small business website and a business application don’t share the same content management constraints or the same maintenance budget. So we choose the stack after reading your requirements.

WordPress covers most business websites: mature, well documented, and you can pick it up without lengthy training. It all depends on how it’s built. A custom theme with no unnecessary plugins holds its own against a static site, and you stay in control of your content.

When WordPress isn’t the right fit, we tell you and show you the math. Some projects fit in a few static HTML pages, others call for Astro or Payload: then that’s what we build on.

What we turn down, and why

No page builder

Elementor, Divi or WPBakery produce heavy code that nobody knows how to maintain or optimize: a site built that way hits a ceiling on Lighthouse. Three years later, the next developer can no longer tell how it works.

No off-the-shelf theme

A commercial theme ships with dozens of features you won’t use, and they slow your site down. The day its publisher stops updating it, maintaining it falls to you.

No over-engineering

If a static HTML page does the job, we deliver a static HTML page. We don’t inflate a project to justify a budget.

Frequently asked questions

Why Gutenberg blocks rather than a page builder?

Gutenberg is WordPress’s native editor. Our custom blocks plug into it with no third-party plugin: the HTML stays clean, the database stays light, and you edit your pages in the standard interface.

What is INP, and why does it matter?

Interaction to Next Paint measures how long your site takes to respond to a click or a keypress. A page can load fast and still feel frozen on the first click. We write lightweight JavaScript so your visitors don’t have to wait.

Do you use specific caching solutions?

A cache can’t make up for slow code: we optimize the code and SQL queries first. Then we add Redis for objects, a server cache (Nginx or Varnish) and a CDN that serves your images close to your visitors.

Will I be “locked in” to your studio?

No. We follow WordPress coding standards (WPCS) and document the code: a competent developer can take over your site. The code, the domain and the hosting belong to you.

My current site is slow. Can you optimize it without starting over?

It depends on what’s slowing it down. On a “bloated” theme, optimization quickly hits a wall, and a redesign often costs less. If the site is sound but poorly configured, a performance audit may be enough.

How do you handle security?

We keep third-party plugins to a minimum to reduce the attack surface. We set up a web application firewall, enforce HTTPS and schedule off-site backups, in multiple copies.

When should I choose Astro over WordPress?

When content rarely changes and speed comes first. A static site exposes no database to your visitors: less server maintenance, and almost nothing to hack.

What is a “headless” CMS like Payload?

A CMS that separates administration from display. You manage your content in a single interface, and we publish it to a website, a mobile app or connected screens.

Do you offer e-commerce development?

Yes, with WooCommerce, built into WordPress. We develop custom checkout flows, fast and designed for conversion, with no prebuilt theme.
