Strategy
and consulting

Good design starts with good understanding.

We audit your current site, map out the sitemap and identify your users before we open Figma. This phase sets the scope, the schedule and the budget; skip it and you find out halfway through that half the pages are missing.

methodology

Web strategy: turning your business goals into a high-performing architecture.

We start with your business processes, your audiences and your conversion goals. Design and code come after, once we know what the site needs to deliver.

We lock the functional scope and the sitemap before placing the first pixel. So you know what you are buying, and every component we design serves an identified page.

We weigh each feature against its maintenance cost, and we build the sitemap around the keywords your customers type. Then we design from your real messages. With the scope set from day one, the delivery date and the budget hold.

Our scope

Custom strategy

Audit of your
existing site

Before talking about a redesign, we audit your site: technical performance, user journeys and content architecture. You come away with the list of problems, their causes and the order in which to fix them.

What we analyze
  • Technical: load times, Core Web Vitals, security, accessibility
  • UX: navigation paths, clarity of messaging, mobile usability
  • Content and SEO: sitemap, tags, internal linking, editorial quality
  • Deliverable: annotated report, recommendations ranked by priority

Project
management

Coordinating a designer, a developer, a hosting provider and a copywriter is a full-time job for someone, and that someone is often the client. We take on that role: schedule, milestones and approvals. You talk to one person, who knows exactly where your site stands.

What it changes for you
  • You no longer act as the go-between for providers
  • We make decisions with the whole project in view
  • We anticipate problems instead of discovering them
  • One contract, one point of contact
  • Deliverable: detailed schedule, approval milestones, meeting notes and written decisions

Sitemap &
content strategy

The sitemap is the plan of your site: the pages, how they connect and what each one contains. We set it before the mockup, so we don’t design an interface your content won’t fill.

What we define together
  • List and hierarchy of pages
  • Goal of each page: inform, convert, reassure
  • Expected content per page: headings, copy, images, CTAs
  • User profiles (personas) and their typical journeys
  • Target pages and search intent for SEO
  • Deliverable: annotated sitemap, structural wireframes, editorial brief per page

How we work

01. We listen

A 30-minute call to understand your context, your goals and your constraints. We don’t pitch you anything at this stage.

02. We analyze

If you already have a site, we audit it. For a new site, we study your competitors, your audiences and your needs.

03. We structure

You receive the sitemap, the editorial brief and our recommendations ranked by priority. Maéva builds the design on that foundation.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a project manager and a developer?

The developer builds the site. The project manager makes sure the team builds the right thing, at the right time and within budget. We play both roles, and we weigh every technical choice against your goals.

How do you communicate during the project?

We set up a shared tracking space (Notion or similar) with the schedule, the documents and task progress. You know who is doing what without digging through your emails.

Do I need to provide all the copy from the start?

That would be ideal, and it rarely happens. The sitemap and editorial briefs give you the structure of each page: you then write within a defined framework, at your own pace.

What exactly is a sitemap?

The skeleton of your site: how the information is organized, well beyond the menu. A good sitemap gets your visitors to what they are looking for in three clicks, and shows Google your main topics.

What is a persona, and how does it help me?

A persona describes a typical profile of your users, for example “Marc, a busy logistics manager.” With these profiles, we design journeys that answer the questions your real customers ask.

Why do you bring up SEO as early as the strategy phase?

The sitemap decides which pages Google will be able to rank. If we build it without your customers’ keywords, no technical optimization can make up for the structure afterward.
